Wife of Man Killed by Illegal Alien or Drug Smuggler Still Reeling from Loss

Another in a series of border stories by a local Fox affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona. Rob Krentz of Cochise County, Arizona was a rancher who was murdered in March 2010, by either an illegal alien or a drug cartel member. Krentz' dog was also shot and the tracks of the murderer lead back to Mexico. Krentz was killed 20 miles north of the border on his ranch, and goes to show, that even this far north of the border, crime from illegal immigration and drug smuggling is rampant and local law enforcement is unable to provide the protection the citizens deserve. Krentz' widow grieves for her husband and this could have been prevented had the federal government done its job and secured our borders.
