 | The Pueblo County Detention Facility falls under the jurisdiction of the Detention Bureau of the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office. The Pueblo County Detention Facility houses not only offenders from Pueblo County, but also from other state and federal law enforcement agencies. The Pueblo County Detention Facility, including their offsite work release facility, has a maximum inmate occupancy of approximately 546 inmates. The Pueblo County Detention Facility offers its inmates with several programs which aim to help these inmates garner important skills that are beneficial to their development. Some programs include educational programs and classes and also, treatment programs. Furthermore, the Pueblo County Detention Facility works with the surrounding community in order to offer programs and services to inmates who have finished their incarceration. Some of these services include employment, substance abuse treatment, housing, education, mental health treatment, family and marriage counseling and veteran specific services. |
