ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia's highest court has upheld the convictions of a former sheriff's deputy in the killings of his wife and a day laborer he had hired. Former DeKalb County sheriff's deputy Derrick Yancey was convicted in 2010. Yancey told authorities he shot Marcial Puluc in self-defense in June 2008.
