 | The Porter County Jail is under the jurisdiction of the Jail Division of the Porter County Sheriff's Department. The Porter County Sheriff's Department is located in Valparaiso, Indiana at 2755 State Road 49. The staff at the Porter County Jail consists of the Jail Staff, the Medical Staff and the Kitchen Staff. The Jail Staff, to name a few, consists of Lieutenant Mary Gaydos, Lieutenant J. Ryan Taylor, Lieutenant Kenton Young, Staff Sergeant Michael Malave, Sergeant David Cavanuaugh, Sergeant Jermey Juliano and Sergeant Greg Kasten. The Medical Staff Consists of Medical Director Kim House, Dawn Murray, Cashawn Walker and Christie Avila. Lastly, the Kitchen Staff consists of Dianne Patrick and Angie Rheinholtz.
Visitation hours at the Porter County Jail are from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Mondays to Fridays and from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm on Mondays to Thursdays.
