A Wernersville man was injured on Friday when he tried to escape from the Wernersville Community Corrections Center by jumping out a second story window. Dio Christopher Garcia, 29, jumped out of a window attempting to flee. He was detained by corrections staff and South Heidelberg Police. Garcia was transported to Reading Hospital for leg injuries and arraigned there. Bail was set at $200,000.
