Man Breaks Into Home, Claims He Is Jesus Christ
A man accused of breaking into a home in Franklin County claiming to be Jesus Christ and Elvis Presley will undergo a mental evaluation. Authorities said 65-year-old Jean Timms of Guntown, Mississippi is charged with third-degree burglary, attempted indecent exposure and resisting arrest. Officials said the homeowner was awakened by the break-in and confronted Timms, who first said he was Jesus Christ and was there to have sex with his wife and daughter. They said a few minutes later, Timms identified himself as Elvis Presley and pulled his pants down to his knees. The homeowner called police and Timms ran out of the house. Police quickly captured the suspect. He was being held without bond at the Franklin County Jail.
