 | The Rankin County Jail is located on 221 North Timber Street in Brandon, Mississippi. Furthermore, the Rankin County Jail, also known in Rankin County as the Detention Center, is connected with the Rankin County Sheriff's Office and is located right behind the Rankin County Justice Center. The entrance to the Rankin County Jail is on the northern side of the building.
Inmates at the Rankin County Jail may have a commissary account, in which they may withdraw funds to purchase items from the jail commissary. For anyone who would like to deposit funds into an inmate's commissary account, please note that the minimum deposit amount is $30.00 and all deposits need to be sent as postal money orders and sent to the following address:

For people who would like to bring an inmate any personal items, they should note that bringing an inmate personal items is permitted on the first Wednesday of each month. However, if the inmate has just been newly booked, they may receive personal items any day of the week during their first week at the Rankin County Jail. Also, personal items may be mailed to the Rankin County Jail for inmates to receive, however these packages must be received within the first week of the month, otherwise they will not be accepted.
