23, May 2013 - Inmate commits suicide A 27-year-old Hempstead County man committed suicide at the Nevada County Jail Wednesday, May 22. According to Nevada County Sheriff Danny Martin, John McCleodon was being held on charges of fraudulent use of a credit card. He was arrested Saturday, May 18, by the Prescott Police Department.
