RI man arrested for pot in Nebraska

Nebraska State Police have arrested a Rhode Island man and seized nearly 16 pounds of marijuana, after a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Lincoln. William Keough, 60, of Wakefield, was pulled over on Monday afternoon for reportedly following another vehicle too closely. A trooper says the pot was found in suitcases in the trunk. On Monday, Lancaster County prosecutors charged Keough with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. A jail spokesman said Keough remained in custody Wednesday, pending $25000 bail. Case documents don't yet list his attorney's name. His next court date is June 7.
